I am Melanie Bauer, a 17-year-old student at a school for Computer Science and Software Development. My great passion is Artificial Intelligence and exploring how it can be practically applied in software development.
In my talks, I present concrete use cases that show how AI-powered processes can be designed effectively. For example, extracting structured data from PDFs, fine-tuning custom AI models, or developing web applications that can be easily controlled via chat.
As a speaker, it is important to me to combine technical know-how with practical examples and to inspire my audience with a fresh, young perspective on the possibilities of AI.

In meinem Vortrag "Finetuning of OpenAI LLMs" bei der Global Azure Austria habe ich gezeigt, wie man KI-Modelle gezielt anpasst, um spezifische Anwendungsfälle optimal zu unterstützen. Dabei habe ich erklärt, wie Finetuning funktioniert, wann es sinnvoll ist und welche praktischen Beispiele zeigen, wie sich die Leistungsfähigkeit von OpenAI-Modellen individuell erweitern lässt.
